Connecticut FCCLA Scholarship Application
for Graduating FCCLA Chapter Members planning further study in
an area related to Family and Consumer Sciences.
Application due March 1. The award will be made at Spring
Conference. Application can be downloaded

Scholarships
Johnson
& Wales University honors motivated students by
sponsoring state conference events and providing them with the
opportunity to earn substantial tuition scholarships to JWU.
The events that are included for their support are Culinary
Arts, Applied Technology, Entrepreneurship,
and Job Interview. The scholarship amounts for these
events are as follows:
1st
place winner receives $1,000. 2nd
place winner is awarded $750
3rd place winner is
awarded $500.
The Culinary Institute of
America is again offering scholarships to students who
are successful in Culinary Arts or in Cake Production.
- Each member of
the first place team in Culinary Arts wins $2,000 or up to
$8,000 through four years. The second place team wins $1,500
per student or up to $6,000 through four years. The third place
team members each qualify for $1,000 or up to $4,000 through
four years. This scholarship offering totals $54,000.
- The
three winners of the Cake Production event qualify for $3,000,
$2,000, or $1,000, renewable for four years. This scholarship
offering totals $24,000!
- Chapter, State and
national officers in FCCLA also can compete for an additional
scholarship of $3,000 by writing an essay about their
experience. Thirty of these scholarships are given each year.
Lincoln Culinary Institute
will be awarding 3 $500 scholarships to students in the
Culinary Event. They also sponsor the Culinary event which
is held at their campus in Hartford.
